Golf is a popular sport among our athletes, drawing approximately 30 athletes each year. We practice on Wednesday evenings at Wildhose Golf Club during July, August and September.
Our season is currently running from July 12th through September 20th on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:15 PM at Wildhorse Golf Club. Our golfers will be competing at the SONC tournament on September 22nd at Haggin Oaks.
A few of our athletes play 9 holes of Alternative Shot golf and the rest compete in the individual skills of putting, chipping and driving.
Each year Team Davis participates in the Special Olympics regional golf tournament at Haggin Oaks Golf Course in Sacramento. The tournament is for both the individual skills and and 9 hole alternate shot players.
Our head coach is Mike Casey, ably assisted by Sean Neal, Bob Clarke, Mick Petersen, Paul Hosley and others.
